This is a picture of Carl buying rope at the hardware store. He has been asked to help with the Young Men activities. In Jamaica they don't have Boy Scouts so mostly they play football during mutual. He decided it would be good for them to learn some useful skills and decided knot tying would be one of them. He bought this two pounds of rope for around $600 Jamaican dollars.
This is a picture of me holding a crocodile. This one was in their holding tank. The senior couples had an outing last Saturday. We went to Black River and went on a boat excursion to see the crocodiles in the river. While we were on the river the tour guide stopped the boat and asked if anyone wanted to go swimming. He said he had two lifeguards there that would help up (2 crocodiles). Only Carl and Elder Smith took him up on it. So yes they do have crocodiles in Jamaica and yes Carl did swim in the river they were in.
